The Power of Produce (POP) Club is a Children's Program for kids ages 5-12 years to teach them about fruits & vegetables, local food systems, agriculture & nature through fun educational activities
As part of the POP Club, members will get their hands dirty planting seeds, learning how to be water wise on the farm, participating in scavenger hunts, and even playing with worms!
In our "Two Bite Club", participants can challenge their taste buds and be adventurous by sampling new foods fresh from market.
Children who are registered with the POP program and participate in the event or activity that day will receive a $3 token to purchase fruits & vegetables from market vendors.
Through these activities kids will have the opportunity to have conversations with farmers and learn about the crops they grow.
There is no cost to participate. Sign up at the POP tent at the market.
The POP Club runs every Sunday at the Farmers Market, for both Coquitlam and Port Moody Markets, Summer and Winter!
