Join us this Sunday at the Coquitlam Poirier Street Farmers Market!  Place des Arts will be in our workshop tent doing a free craft! Visit them to make a traditional Ojo de Dios, and find out about some of the exciting arts programs they offer.

Visit our free kids craft table to contribute to our 20th Anniversary Community Bunting project. Decorate a flag and be part of this community art project to celebrate our fantastic market!

Join us on Sunday as the Coquitlam Farmers Market turns 20! The party starts at 10am. Of course, the Farmers Market opens at 9am and goes until 1pm. Come early to do your shopping, and stay for all the fun!

The market will be full of food, fun and activities.  Join CFMS Chair Christiana Miewald, Terri Evans, MLA Selina Robinson, Councilor Teri Towner and other dignitaries as they celebrate this major milestone. Following the opening remarks, there will be a cake cutting, and then the Coquitlam Fire Fighters will host the 10^th Annual Salmon BBQ.

Also, make sure to be part of our ‘Human 20 Picture’ at 10:30 am! We will attempt to form the number 20 with the visitors to the market and take a picture from above.

The celebration will also feature kids games and crafts, a photo booth, and the Coquitlam Express will be onsite to show off their stick skills.

Do you have any gardening questions you wish you could ask an expert? Bring them this Sunday to our demonstration tent to ‘Ask a Master Gardener’.  Anyone who asks a question can enter a draw to win a plant!

Francis Henson will be our musician at market this weekend.  Francis is an 18 year old guitarist, singer and songwriter, and an active member of the Tri-Cities music community.

Join us at the kids craft table to make dandelion paintings.  Using yellow paint and a fork, create a colourful masterpiece to take home with you.
