Join us this Sunday at the Port Moody Winter Farmers Market! Be sure to visit our vendors both indoors and outdoors.
Have you resolved to live greener in 2017? Our green cleaning workshop on Sunday January 22nd is the perfect place to start. Those of you who are regular DIY’ers will learn some new tips and are welcome to come share your tips and tricks you’ve learned.
In this workshop you will learn:
- Why vinegar isn’t as eco-friendly as you think!
- How to harness the power of Foster Naturals ecoOrganic Dish Soap and one other household ingredient to remove turmeric, wine, coffee and tea stains and even rust in your kitchen.
- Why using castile soap mixed with vinegar is not the best DIY cleaning solution.
- What ‘greenwashing’ is and what to watch out for on products labelled ‘natural’ or ‘plant based’
Participants will create their own cleaner during the class to take home. You will also walk away with a sample of Foster Naturals ecoOrganic Dish Soap and $10 in market money.
Workshops are outdoors under a tented area, so please dress for the weather.
Cost: $20
Workshops start at 10:30 and Noon. Please sign up online here or at the market info table. Space is limited.
