We hold two juries per year to fill the limited number of spaces available for craft and prepared food vendors.
Volunteers are the heart of our organization and represent the face of the market to the community. They are responsible for setting up and tearing down the market each week, and provide general assistance to our vendors and visitors. Volunteers also answer inquiries from the public, and help with crafts and events. We also need people to help out with special events, like our Hallowe’en Spooktacular and our annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast. On-site training is provided to all volunteers. The Coquitlam Farmers Market offers a free table for Community Groups each week and welcomes new groups to participate. Community Groups focused on the issues of Food, Health and the Environment are invited to Sign up online or email email@example.com for more information.
We do provide a compensation for our entertainers and you are more than welcome you to put out a hat and collect donations from our generous shoppers and vendors, and to sell CDs if you are a musician.
