They will be serving up their delicious pancakes, hash browns, and sausage with proceeds to benefit HWSS Dry Grad celebrations. Winter POP Club – Week 6

Join the POP Club and discover the Power of Produce!
Week 6: December 16 – We will be trying to guess mystery vegetables using only our sense of touch! Kids will feel a vegetable in our mystery box and then draw it out on a provided piece of paper. If they do not know which vegetable it is, children are encouraged to explore the market looking for the vegetable they felt.
Two Bite Club – We will be tasting cauliflower.
The POP Club is a farmers market-based kids program. Children (ages 5 – 12 years old) will learn about fruits and vegetables, local food systems and healthy food preparation through fun activities all season long.
Each week children will earn a $3 market token to use towards any fruit or vegetable of their choice.
There is no cost to participate.  The POP Club runs every Sunday until the end of April. Please note the POP Club is hosted outside the Port Moody Recreation Complex. Please dress for the weather. The program will run rain or shine!

Holiday shopping is in full swing! We’ve made it easy to shop local this year, with all the best local artisans under one roof! Only a couple markets remain in December for festive fun, and great local shopping!

Port Moody Flowers is hosting two workshops this Sunday. Register to make a holiday swag for your home decor. Workshops take place in an outdoor, covered area, so dress for the weather!!

We’ll have pancakes for purchase in our food truck area this Sunday! A team from Heritage Woods Secondary School will be at market cooking up pancakes to fundraise for their Dry Grad celebrations. Stop by to have a few pancakes, and support a great cause!

Kids! Visit our craft table to make paper plate ornaments! Also, come early and make a special snowman ornament at our extra holiday craft table! Crafts at our holiday craft table are while supplies last!!

We’re happy to welcome Kelly Kay to the market as our musician this Sunday! Enjoy some classic rock tunes, and maybe even some holiday favorites, too!

Pet owners! Healing Paws Veterinary will be at market hosting Christmas Pet Photos. Bring your pet to the market between 10am-1pm to have their photo taken. Cost is by donation to the BCSPCA.
