Are your markets open during COVID-19?

Yes, as an essential service and vital food access point in the community we are operating under the guidance of the BC CDC.

Are masks required at the market?

As an outdoor market, masks are not mandated under the current Provincial Health Order. That said masks are highly encouraged.

Are the number of shoppers limited to allow for social distancing?

Yes, our staff constantly monitor the number of shoppers in the market space to allow for proper social distancing

Are the line ups at the market long? 

We typically only have a line up in the morning prior to the market starting but it is well maintained and moves quickly.

What measures are vendors taking to keep the market safe?

Every vendor has a different approach depending on their product and stall configuration, however, there are few rules that are mandatory to all vendors:

  • Stay home if sick or have symptoms
  • Maintain physical distancing between themselves and shoppers
  • Regular hand-washing and stall sanitizing
  • Encourage shoppers to eat outside the market
  • Not allow sampling of products

What forms of payment are being accepted at the market right now?

Credit and debit cards are accepted by most vendors. Many vendors, but not all, are now accepting cash. Market Money is available for purchase at the Info Booth.

Is my dog allowed at the market?

As much as we love our furry friends, at this time no dogs, aside from service animals, are allowed in the market zone.

Are there hand washing stations at the market?

Yes there is one at the entrance and a couple others throughout the market zone.

Can I eat food in the market?

No, at this time all food including food truck meals must be eaten outside of the market zone.
