Maple Apple Pancakes Directions

Bon Mano Bon Foods

  • 1 x bag of candied nuts

Jam n’Music

  • 2 x jars of Apple Butter

Farmhouse Cheeses

  • Butter
  • Chevre or fromage frais
  • Milk

Maple Sugar Shack

  • Maple Syrup

Central Park Farms

  • Eggs


  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Vanilla
  • Apples

Cooking Directions

In a large measuring cup, measure out 1.5 cups of your milk of choice

Add 2 tbsp white or apple cider vinegar to milk and stir, set aside

In large bowl add dry ingredients:

2 cups flour of choice

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

4 tbsp sugar of choice (raw, coconut, honey etc)

With a whisk stir together dry ingredients to remove any lumps

Pour milk+vinegar into dry mix

Add 2 eggs

Add 2 tsp vanilla

Add 2 tbsp oil of choice (grapeseed has a mild flavour)

Mix together until combined and no large lumps appear * do not over mix

Turn on and heat griddle pan to medium temp

Make Maple Icing by combining:

250grams chevre or fromage frais

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 cup icing sugar

Use milk of choice to thin icing to your desired consistency)

*Use a hand or stand mixer, if you do not have one a whisk will work also.

*Cheese needs to be soft, if needed place in microwave for 10 second increments until soft and workable

Cook the pancakes. Use a 1/4 cup measuring spoon to scoop and pour batter onto hot griddle. When you see bubbles appear (approx 20- 60 seconds) flip pancake over. Cook until firm to touch approx 1 min per side.


Place pancake on plate and spread liberally with with apple butter, place another pancake on top. Sprinkle candied nuts and chopped fresh apples on top. Use spoon to drizzle maple cheese frosting on top and down the sides!

Recipes makes 14 pancakes so enjoy some today and pack as lunches for the week or freeze.
