Bali Bites was created after the closing of our restaurant Balilicious in 2014.  Our customers missed our food so much, that we decided to sell our sauces to have them re-created their favorite dishes.  Many people associate our sauces as a dipping sauce for salad rolls, satay sauce or for lettuce wraps. Our sauces are prepared in our home kitchen. Making this sauce does take time and a lot of man power…thank goodness for my 3 sons helping out! We follow the same traditional preparation steps that our grandmothers have done, with a slight tweak in the use of modern equipment. We definitely make our sauces with lots and lots of love and tears…tears of joy when the production is finished!. As well to introducing our sauces and keeping our customers happy, this allows us to educate the public about our Indonesian culture. It has been wonderful to share our products, and we hope it enhances the markets and provides a variety of products in each community.

Products: Indonesian homemade peanut sauce in 3 spice levels, mild, medium and hot.  As well an Vegan style peanut sauce that uses soybean and seaweed instead of fermented shrimp paste.  Spring of 2019, we introduced our spicy chili sambal sauces.  Red chili sambal bajak and Green Vegetarian Chili sambal hijau.  Use them like hot sauce condiments.
