Amanda Smith will lead you through the market to explore the in-season produce and talk about how what’s fresh now can be preserved for the winter months. After, you will learn the basics of home canning, while getting hands-on with some pickling! Each participant will be involved in the process, and you will get a jar of pickles to take home, and a canning recipe or two.
