May 13: Poirier Street Market Opening Day
The Coquitlam Farmers Market celebrates 16 years in the community! Come by for fresh local produce, delicious eats, activities for kids, live entertainment, and many edible events.

July 15: 7th Annual Salmon and Burger BBQ
Come by for a Salmon and Burger BBQ and celebrate 16 years of the Coquitlam Farmers Market! This fishy event is full of interesting salmon details and facts. Learn about what groups are active in the community and how to get involved.

August 19: 8th Annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast
Come and have breakfast at the Coquitlam Farmers Market! Enjoy one of BC’s tastiest berries and learn about the mystical world of bees. There will be live entertainment, face painting, and crafts and games for kids.

September 16: Kids Day at the Farmers Market
The Farmers Market will have some special vendors at the market today – and they are all creative kids. Come out and enjoy the talents of local youth. September 30: Best Pie in Town Contest
Do you make a pie that is the envy of the dinner party? Come compete for the title of the Best Pie in Town! Prizes will be offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and the Pie Contest is open to all amateur pie bakers.

Rules: Open to all amateur bakers; ALL components of the pie must be made by the contestant, including the crust; local fruit pies only; one entry per person. Pies should be brought to the Pie Contest tent between 9am and 10am on September 30th. Please see the Market Info tent for directions. Judging will begin at 10:30am. Pies will be judged on the following factors: appearance, taste, WOW factor, and creativity. Remaining pie will be returned to the contestant.

October 14: Harvest Festival and BBQ
Celebrate the abundance of produce and the changing of the season. Join us for our Harvest Festival & BBQ. Visit our Sunday Market for some fall fun and stock up on some amazing local fall produce! Games and activities for the whole family.

October 28: Halloween Spooktacular
Join the Farmers Market for the final event of the summer season, featuring a Halloween themed market full of tricks and treats for kids of all ages! There are plenty of fruits and vegetables available for you to stock up for the winter season.
