Designer Cookies
DesignerCookies was established in Port Coquitlam in July 2010. Since then, dozens of beautifully designed sugar cookies have found their way into parties and events across the Lower Mainland. DesignerCookies is a natural extension of the baker’s creativity and outgoing personality.
Alyson Carter grew up in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Her love of baking started from the time she was old enough to use a real oven. When she was nine, Alyson’s grandmother gave her a spiral-bound notebook and an apron. The notebook had a single recipe written in her grandma’s tidy handwriting (Grandma’s gingersnaps were a cookie-jar favourite).
Over the years, Alyson’s notebook has grown in recipes, including her fine-tuned sugar cookie recipe that combines fresh ingredients for a delicious taste experience bite after bite.
