Virtual Power of Produce Club: Week 3 Apples

In Market News, Virtual POP Club

This week we’re learning all about apples, a fall-time favourite here in British Columbia. While they might be a regular lunch time choice for many kids now, did you know that apple trees weren’t originally found in BC and only started growing here when apple tree grafts were first brought by European settlers back in 1859.

For POP Club, take a look at some more fun facts about apples on our two page fact sheet, play a round of our vocabulary matching game, and then tell us how you like them apples.
