Many of you may recognize Jen Hiltz from the delicious Gypsy Trunk food truck, but this week she is joining us as our market musician. Jen grew up singing in the Kelowna Farmers Market as well as at fairs and festivals all over BC and AB.
Join us at the Kids’ Craft Table to make a snowman puppet.  Choose from different faces and fun, coloured ‘buttons’ to create a unique snowman all your own!

Have you resolved to live greener in 2017? Our green cleaning workshop on Sunday January 22nd is the perfect place to start. Those of you who are regular DIY’ers will learn some new tips and are welcome to come share your tips and tricks you’ve learned.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • Why vinegar isn’t as eco-friendly as you think!
  • How to harness the power of Foster Naturals ecoOrganic Dish Soap and one other household ingredient to remove turmeric, wine, coffee and tea stains and even rust in your kitchen.
  • Why using castile soap mixed with vinegar is not the best DIY cleaning solution.
  • What ‘greenwashing’ is and what to watch out for on products labelled ‘natural’ or ‘plant based’

Participants will create their own cleaner during the class to take home. You will also walk away with a sample of Foster Naturals ecoOrganic Dish Soap and $10 in market money.

Workshops are outdoors under a tented area, so please dress for the weather.

Cost: $20
